The medical industry goes on a fee for service model in which you get paid for the pills and procedures that you prescribe rewarding quantity and quality. Dr. Gregor said they're not incentivized to take 10, 12, 15 minutes to say, what are you eating? What are you exercising? How can we actually do this better? Instead of taking this drug, why don't you try three months of up in the broccoli for a bit and decreasing the bacon for a bit? He says it's all just here. Take this pill. Geez, that's a big tip. You pay a lot of money. Don't really work like that.
