Artificial Intelligence

As the range of solutions gets bigger, AI seems to be moving in direction of a system that's more intelligent. So my slogan is that you could think about childhood as evolution's way of doing simulated annealing. And some of the interesting consequences of this picture of what intelligence is like is that many things that seem to be bugs in childhood actually turn out to be features.
