The Taoist Philosophy and the Confucian Philosophy Are in Agreement

In Confucian philosophy, the fundamental virtue of a human being is called yang. It means approximately human-heartedness. A man of true virtue is therefore a human-hearted man. One should trust human nature in the full recognition that it's both good and bad. When people fight wars, I trust them if the reason for which they fight a war is to expropriate somebody else's possessions and women.
