Bob Greene was diagnosed with delirium and sent to a mental hospital. He says his friend Bill Wilson tried to evangelize him, but he couldn't understand the concept of God. Greene fell into an ecstasy after being taken away by doctors who gave him drugs that made him hallucinate. But when they were gone, Greene went through a depression such as he'd never had before.
