Is There a Future for AOSP Extensions?

A lot of what we're looking at is custom-mindedly released processes and making sure that the releases are safe. We don't have any specifics in mind, but there are some areas that teams are interested in or as new functionalities being created. There's a graphics apex defined in the ASP tree, actually. It's more about proof of concept than a real module at this point.
