Can Companies Pass on Higher Wages?

Can companies pass on higher wages? To me, that's how the wage price spiral really begins to evolve. And when you look at some of the ansellary data around the wage increases for people who are staying in their jobs relative to people who leave for other jobs, they're both running very high. Even those who are not leaving are getting wage increases, and those who leave are getting bigger wage increases. So the net effect on wages is to sort of drag them upwards across the board.
