i, as a long time author myself and an old school baby boomer who appreciates physical books, i love the book. It's beautifully produced. Thank you. I'll came to tee this off here for you, because i know you'll have heard this kind of argument. Several years ago, steve pinker and i did a public event in montreal, and he had just the week before, been on bill mower show and basically saying, hey, things are getting better. And so bill mor said, are you kidding me? Things hae never been so bad. Here moer then lists all the bad things that are happening you've heard the rhetoric.

Is it true that the world’s rapidly growing population is consuming the planet’s natural resources at an alarming rate that would require two Earths to satisfy the demand for natural resources by 2030? Marian Tupy and Gale Pooley found that resources became more abundant as the population grew. They also found that resource abundance increased faster than the population. On average, every additional human being created more value than he or she consumed.

Pooley has held professional designations from the Appraisal Institute, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the CCIM Institute. He has published articles in National Review, HumanProgress.org, The American Spectator, the Foundation for Economic Education, the Utah Bar Journal, the Appraisal Journal, Quillette, Forbes, and RealClearMarkets.
