Ken Bishop is the president and CEO of NASBA, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. The board voted unanimously to oppose a bill that would allow future CPAs to earn 120 hours with two years' work experience instead of getting an extra 30 hours. "The vote was to continue to support the 150 because of the importance of substantial equivalency and mobility across the United States," he says.
