One of the quickest ways to create that pattern interrupt is to down regulate the emotional centres of your brain and up regulate the prefrontal cortex. And one of the most powerful things i tell people and tell my coaches to do is whenever they go through a bad situation, no matter how bad - ask yourself what are the seven ways in which this experience is actually of benefit for me?
