Do Your Research Before Opening a Checking Account
The only reason the small banks survive is because depositors don't do due diligence. It would be crazy to keep your money in a small bank unless you trusted the government to have your back. The idea that an ordinary depositor can research the history of the United States and come up with a risk management model for their checking account is Ridiculous.
