The Dark Side of the Crystal Cavern

We were back at the place marked on the map as the Crystal Cavern. The last time we'd been here, I'd hallucinated something terrifying in the back of the cave before running out into the forest like a lunatic. This time was different. MK believed it was because we were visiting the gates in the proper order. But if that were true, what was going to happen when we passed through all of them? We moved slowly through the cave, making our way toward the back where we'd previously seen the flickering light of a fire. It turns out they didn't have to crouch for very long, but that's because the cave had become even smaller.
