The United Methodist Church Is a Huge Umbrella
The free Methodist church is not having the same kind of like bloodbath conversation. So there's a way more open handedness to figuring out how to better love and understand people because we don't have this impending church split doom hanging above us. Those who are part of the conservative wing of the UMC have a distinct cultural context where they may be a little bit of a pendulum swing too far, maybe given some of their fears and concern.
