Are Product Managers Responsible for Product Development?

Yammer's hiring process is very much a, I say homework. We have a product homework. It's a very product exercise driven process. And so we're definitely like, I've never once looked at a resume of someone who applied to Yammer, like not even a single time. So my experience getting a job was I came from Asana and there's a PM Asana that worked with my manager at Yammer and we got coffee and that all turned into the beginning of that conversation. The growth opportunities in the industry were incredibly limited because the industry itself was opposite of a growth industry.
