Change is very threatening to how our brains are wired. Our brains are wired for habit and pattern and auto pilot repetition, even if it's sub optimal. No matter how beautiful your action plan that you've laid out might be, if you don't recognize that all habit change is going to include a degree of pain, then you're going to quit before you're half way through.
