The Balance of Ferrari and Toyota at Lamont
Ferrari's victory at Lamont was a result of the BOP adjustment. The four course yellows were used for the first time in North America. I think that was absolutely key to their victory, and if we take out it would have been closer than a spa or seabering. Cadillac and Porsche were also penalised, but just to a much lesser extent. Peugeot was the one of the five big manufacturers that gained the most because they were not given any increase in weight. Ferrari had a significant delay with one of its cars that meant that it finished behind two Cadillac.
