The Current Thinking Is That Light Is Its Own Anti Particle
photons are what are known as force carrying particles. Another force carrying particle is a gluon. Gluons like glue the quarks on to each other to make protons and neutrons. What photons do is they carry the electromagnetic force, and as a result, they're neutral. And soa, the current thinking is that light is its own anti particle. But there is some question about that. i recently was looking at a paper that proposed that we may be able to distinguish anti light from reg light. There may be an experimental way we can test that.
