Dancing sickness happened in certain towns and villages. People just started dancing, multiple people in it. Seemingly random of people in the town just started dancing uncontrollablyi they couldn't stop. They would eventually tire out, but then get up the next day and they'd start dancing again. And sometimes people literally couldn't stop, and they destroyed their bodies. Just danced until they died. It didn't seem to be subject to their will.
