The Lights of Jeddah
Jeddah has become one of the main evacuation points for all of the foreign nationals and Sudanese love, but lucky enough to have what is now a golden ticket to flee the flight fighting. But we were looking for ways to get into Sudan because it is so difficult, in fact, almost impossible now for foreigners, foreign journalists to get visas to enter. So we got here and boarded a Saudi warship turned rescue vessel, which made what was quite fast at warship, 24 nautical miles an hour, going across the Red Sea, a 10 hour crossing.
