Is Powell's Position Exactly the Same?
The fed gets their power from mythology around a fed. And they have power ther their main power is in panic reduction. So if there's a acute crisis, they can come in and say, hey, i got your guises back. I'll buy up whatever you need. The market is not going to crash. But this monetary policy stuff, they really don't have any slow walk capability. They are just kind of matching what's already going on in the market. That's my opinion.
