The average age of a farmer is about 60 years old. There seems to be a lack of enthusiasm for farming amongst the younger generations. We've got an economy, which has got less than four and unemploymentt that's an incredible success story. But it does mean that for rural businesses, trying to find the work forse of the future at the moment is very challenging. How do we fill that gap in the immediate, short term? And how do we put training plans in place to make ourselves be an industry that people want to be part of? i think it should be really exciting.
