I'm Not Against Public Funding of Basic Science, but I Think It's Excellent

I think public funding and basic science is one of the most effective things that you can do with public money. I was really, really glad to have Ron Uns call me out on basically the framing of the show. This episode was not about the value of disagreement though. This was about really about how I think about the world. And it's kind of aesthetics of just being someone who cares a lot about truth and cares about a lot about seeing the world as it is. That appeals to me a lot.
