Is There a Difference Between Computers and Humans?
The human brain is like a Swiss Army knife and it contains a lot of intelligence, says Angus MacKinnon. And the computer just takes one of those mechanisms and expands it, he adds. He argues that in high data environments such as our own, AI can do very powerful things. But when you get volatility and uncertainty, this kind of thing gets taken to another level, which is why we're so worried about artificial intelligence - but there's no way to stop it from getting better at what it does.
