The University of Tarteau

There is a citizens museum, which shows how an 1830s family would have lived during that time. The university itself was established in 1803 and some of the world's top researchers have studied there. Arvo Pert is also known for his work as a composer at Tarteau University. There are beautiful botanical gardens if you need a break from historic buildings.
