The Challenges of Data Quality
i'm wondering if you can talk through some of the common challenges that engineers face in trying to collect and organize all f the medadata across their system. And some of the ways that the existing tate of the tooling on the industry, and the various generational shifts of those tools, contributes to some of those challenges or blockades. Solving a hard problem, that is what is right. But solving this problem can transform the data word. It's not like the metadata is not collect in a centralized manner to a certain extent. The problem is the metodata models are,. lot of times there are no metadato modelsb its, chief value pars and yonow.

After experiencing the impacts of fragmented metadata and previous attempts at building a solution Suresh Srinivas and Sriharsha Chintalapani created the OpenMetadata project.
