Scientists need to teach people how to look for disconfirming evidence. Humans don't think that way naturally, so we need a process or tool in place to help us do that. If you have people around you who think differently from you, have different backgrounds, they're just in general different, then you tend to notice that and so do they. That can make for much better group discussions, group decisions, a teams. And i just really can show a lot of piosies that would have just slid through if everybody assumed everyone thought like them.
