How Does a Game Diet Affect Mental Health?

39 thousand participants might sound like a lot, but really it's all a drop in the bucket. There're about 35 hundred video games being actively played on the major platforms - not seven. And so what this paper has kind of found and laid out is that it's not so much how much you play, but why you play. So more than anything, i find it reassuring that the things we've been seeing and have been theorizing based on our experiences as mental health professionals are playing out too.
