Do Slow Excentric Pull Ups Really Work?

The reason that someone could do so much more load with a pull up going negative is not because it's recruiting more muscle fibers. No, because of the passive tension. And I'm sure we talked about that at some point, how doing slow eccentrics unless they're really heavy or not a good use of your training time. It seems like it's a lot of load on your tendons. It just stretches the muscle fiber a lot, which is fatiguing, which can influence your workouts, but it's definitely not helping you.
