How to Get a Consistent Answer to a Water Test

It's very difficult to know if the test actually is giving you a consistent answer, because not all wood has precisely 12 % water content. I have so many questions about the moisture thing. If you can't figure out how to consistently give each piece of wood that you're testing the correct amount of moisture, then why don't you figure out what the average amount of moisture is in a specific type of wood in a specific region? The second you brouht tha moisture thing, i was like, that's bullshed. Go on.
