There's a view that our perception of what is true is subjective. Is that something we're very aware of at the moment? And has it ever been thus or as ar we in a time when people are particularly inclined to challenge what other people say is true? I think we've always had in people have their own versions of the truth. What is different now is that thats being amplified by the internet and social mediam because we are exposed to all the other truths, he says. Social media is a powerful tool for people who want to spread their own version of theTruth.
Professor Jim Al-Khalili is the physicist who makes science look easy.
