The Politics of Racial Atrocity in the United States
There are a few moments where easy Rollins is you know he has a picture of his unit, which I think was deployed in Italy. It's clear that he gets a raw deal when he comes back he's fired from his factory job so that's not the main theme. But that's another movie of the period that I think at least has hints of that and maybe there are even more in the novel than the film. That movie was relatively successful a critical darling but not like and is now kind of like a cold hand people are like oh why wasn't this more popular.
