The End of Umpire Heckling in Baseball
Jeff Pearlman asks if umpire heckling disappears, is baseball still baseball? It takes me back to that day in Charlotte. I was actually sitting down in the scout seats behind home plate because I wanted to see what Liam Hendrix stuff looked like at a field level. And when that ball crossed over home plate, a fan yelled, come on blue, that's a strike. He didn't realize that because it was Thursday that it was not blue who was making the call.
