Your children actually have their own agency. Even if it is implied in talks at church or statements by general authorities, this is a good thing. If you really believe in jesus christ, trust him with your children. His plan includes eternal progression, and it isn't over yet. Support them in their choices, be there with them to hear about when their choices turn out well or poorly. That's what it means to have an eternal family unless you choose to in the way you treat them.
