When I saw Assad descend from his plane and met by the Saudi senior officials, when I saw him sit in the meeting and address the other presidents, I was appalled. We had the feeling that we were let down by the very governments which funded the opposition to become an armed opposition. And now they receive Assad as a hero. What happens now if Assad does not give any concession? Do you think the Arab leaders were expelling from the Arab League again? No way. What's done is done.
