When Is the Right Time for an Employee to Step Up to a Leadership Position?

I think part of being a human is being honest about your imperfections and then working to, ah, be a better one. When do you know it's the right time for an employee to step up to that leadership position? Ik, when? When does andy give the blessing on that person? Said? Oka, yhere. That's a good question. There's new ants to that. But here's what i will tell you. I used to wait until i truly believe this, the person who was stepping up into the leadership had ever single skill. And whenever i was like that, no one ever got promoted. It took me a long time to figure that out.
