Is There a Barrier to Entry to Curate Ideas?
In some cases, like you want to just consume the content. And so people enjoy discovery as well, finding new things. Pinterest is a good example where you want to curate ideas and create your own curation. It really depends on the use case, in my opinion. But what is valuable is that when you are kind of like a building on the same infrastructure as the other applications, you can decide what kind of experiences and data you want to Curate for the users.
