Analytica Neutrality and Relational Thinking
Analytica neutrality and the idea that what neutrality looked like which was a kind of maybe an attenuated version of the analyst or someone who was more withdrawn or held back was considered an ethical stance. So I think that the idea was almost, I wasn't spelled out this way, but that somehow neutrality was at odds with the autonomy of the analyst actually. And so I think it's sort of an effort to almost sort of to really correct what might be something that could feel a little limiting or constrictive of the analyst subject.
