Is There a Real Wage Increase?
As far as i can tell, we haven't really seen significant wage increases that are keeping up with e the rate of inflation. And in europe too, we're seeing pressure on real wages, downward pressure, that is. The only silver lining here is that, if real wages are falling, you'd expect demand for labour to remain robust. In other words, we would have a reduced risk of unemployment,. which is staglation, sor a combination of inflation and unemployment.
