Drew elaborated on this dynamic with Jade in The People Interview. She said, the most emotional part of my treatment has involved trying to get my relationship with my mother straight. After we'd been through several boxes of tissues, she said it was time for her to go home and sleep. That is so heartbreaking that this child clearly feels like if she lets her mum go back home, she's going to flip back into manager roommate mode instead of motherly guardian mode.
