Do You Need the State?

Nobody knows how long this thing is going to last, but if the war does end in any kind of reasonable time frame, the what's crane going back? I don't know how they go back to being a normal state when they have opened the flood gates to every one is the army now. It calls into question number of things. But yet, i don’t know how the police return to a country which is seemingly at least holding off, if not defeating, a military super power.
