A Double Edged Sword?
Scientific advances gave us sophisticated weapons, right up to and including the adam bomb. But in that same vein we're also advancing our weaponry and ability to destroy one another. Just seems like a very double edged sword in a way. I don't knows if this cycle has always existed or if it increases in swing every time. It seems that we're more advanced now than we were back in rome. So i don't know where we are now in relation to other times in the cycle. And if there even could be a tool to break that cycle.
