Spencer: We were selling the book for $15.95, you know, and it wasn't even 100 pages long. One of the publishers said no, the price is too high,. Spencer would kind of get up and go to the door and look at these people. He said, this must be little league because if two unknown guys can sell $20,000 to $15. 95 and you can't, we got the wrong publisher. The president of Morrow, Larry Hughes, comes up and says, Black the door, don't let him out of here. That was a hardback for $ 15.95 today. It'd probably be $25.30.
