The uncanny valley is a concept that was develope in 19 70 by japanese robotiists masahiro mori. The idea is that things that look kind of human, but not very human, can be cute and attractive - like the cute robots you see in cartoons or as children's toys. However, when robots start looking very human, but still not quite human, they suddenly become creepy,. Like creepy plastic people with fake skin and awkward motions. So why do zombes fall into the uncanny valley? I think the reason for this is that humans are programmed on a biological level to find dead human bodies creepy.
