The Inconclusiveness of Uranus

Pete Lawrence says it is possible to see Uranus with the naked eye of conditions and preparations are just right. He stresses however that the planet, quote, shines at the edge of naked eye visibility and any direct views of Uranus aren't always conclusive. But again, the whole deal here is that what you see is not significant enough to have had any impact on these ancient astrological and astronomical systems.
