The book is mostly just people talking to each other and they I mean they all take a while to get around to the things that they're saying. It's not appropriate when mrs. Bennett is being an idiot for Elizabeth to turn to her and be like shut up momlike you just kind of have to green and bear it or if you can't do that leave the room.
