Infection Prevention Is a Hard Job

I feel like with all of these kind of hospital-quiet infections, it seems like it's a very good team work type thing working with either ICT, surgeons, infection prevention team. Is that correct? Yeah, it is. And I got to tell you that infection prevention is a hard job. It can be very difficult because we're not the ones that are performing the surgery. But yes, we need a team. You need a good multidisciplinary team and you really become a relationship builder. Always tailor antibiotics based off, site of infection, what type of surgery, community versus hospital, and their history of prior antibiotics.
