How Did You Become a Writer?
Sally Kohn: Growing up my mom she was very lenient on everything like so when she would go get performance outfits she would take me to like the leather shops. She just really encouraged self expression and so growing up writing just became a way that I expressed myself but again it wasn't for any other purposes than then I want to be creative I like telling stories. So, as he got older and headed into college creativity was always a huge thing but it became more about making money. He went to school initially for political science because his mother is a huge activist who loves learning about systems. But eventually transferred to NYU just because I felt like well if I'm going to do this
