How to Deal With a Criminal Case
You should expect some offers to get rescinded from this. There might be some legal protection depending on your background and the place you live. But certainly in some countries, it will be an option to say, actually, we don't want to hire this person because of some background stuff. And they may not even tell you, right? They might just say, yeah, yeah, they might just go dark. I am unfortunate because I have the opposite problem. So anytime anyone runs my background, they get like 400 criminal records hits for people who aren't me. My story is always it wasn't me. It's like, most of it's on other Dave Smith.
