Comparison of Two-Point Dixon Method and CNN Derived Proton Density Fat Fraction in Assessment of Hepatic Iron Overload

This chapter discusses a study comparing the accuracy of the two-point Dixon method and a CNN derived proton density fat fraction in estimating liver iron overload. The CNN derived method was found to be significantly closer to the ground truth, but the study has limitations such as training and testing on different sites and lack of histopathologic data.
