The Importance of Sharing Our Weakness

The church in its best light is a place where we share our weakness and what we receive is tenderness. The more mature Christians, the ones that are further down the road than you and I, we can see them do this. That's what changes us. But as long as we do the image management that Delos Willard talked about, where we're trying to protect our image, then there's always going to be a pretty low ceiling on the amount of growth we see.
