Gabe Kalan: Evergreen was in existence in the early 80s, started by another general, Bill Carr. He'd sold most of it to the guy that hired me in the business, Larry Morris. And then about 2006 or seven, I met Louie Gobind at a John Malden conference and we hit it off. We're amazingly fortunate to be aligned as closely with him as we are because Gavcal has virtually every major money manager on the planet as a client.
